Dhani Harrison
Dhani Harrison
Grammy Award winning musician Dhani Harrison has been busy since the release of his last album with his collective thenewno2. In the past four years Harrison has scored a handful of feature films, marking his big screen debut as a composer on Warner Bros.’s Beautiful Creatures, which the LA Times praised for its “cool alt-rock sound thanks to the haunting music of Harrison”, as well as the critically acclaimed Learning to Drive starring Sir Ben Kingsley. Harrison also found the time to score four TV series including Tony Goldwyn and Richard LaGravenese’s The Divide, two seasons of the Paul Giamatti executive produced show Outsiders, as well as Amazon’s original series, Good Girls Revolt.

Harrison is set to return to the stage, but not under the guise of thenewno2, instead he is stepping out and making music for the first time under his own name. Reflecting his influences over the past few years as a composer, Harrison’s new music paints a cinematic soundscape, with his first solo album set for release later this fall on BMG Records.

Harrison’s foray into life as a solo artist follows thenewno2’s success, having made numerous late night TV appearances over the years, performing live on The Late Show with Conan O’Brien five times, as well as appearing on the legendary The Tonight Show. When the band made their first-ever appearance at Coachella their set was lauded by Spin Magazine as the “best debut performance of the festival” and they also earned a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of the top 10 must-see bands at Lollapalooza.

Harrison has collaborated with an eclectic array of musicians during his career including like-minded artists such as The Wu-Tang Clan, Regina Spektor, Pearl Jam, Prince and performing with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur in his other long-time project, Fistful of Mercy.

Summer Moon
When Nikolai Fraiture isn't playing bass and writing with The Strokes (of which he is a founding member), he is busy helming Summer Moon, a music and arts collective he began in 2015 with various friends from NYC.
After streaming only one song, With You Tonight, on soundcloud, Summer Moon was met with very early interest with features in Rolling Stone and NME.
Joining Nikolai is Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) on drums, Camila Grey (Uh Huh Her) on key/ vocals and Noah Harmon (The Airborne Toxic Event) on guitar
Aussie-born Mereki knows how to have a good time. With her bleach-blonde hair, killer style, and carefree attitude, this future punk artist is not afraid to be wild, loud, and completely kickass. And her latest music video for “Nothing Matters” perfectly captures that feeling.

Moving away from the more synthy, electronic lovelorn feel of her 2013 song “Blue Lake,” Mereki has adopted a new, unapologetic sound that makes for the perfect party soundrack. But her change of style shouldn’t come as a surprise—the singer has also written music for Kylie Minogue and provided supporting vocals for Sky Ferreria on “I Blame Myself.” With percussive rock vibes similar to Lolawolf, “Nothing Matters” goes all out, blending futuristic electro-pop accents with a heavy drumbeat and unexpected elements of techno soundbites that evoke the nostalgic chimes of dial-up internet. It’s a mix of Los Angeles cool with suburban angst, and just a dash of garage rock.

Directed by Holychild, the video for Mereki’s new single captures the song’s handmade, badass vibe in one insane night out.
