Cocker Power
Cocker Power
In March of 1970 Joe Cocker, Leon Russell and approximately 40 of their closest friends embarked on the now legendary Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour across North America. Tasked with assembling a touring band that was slated to tour the US in 8 days, Leon Russell enlisted the aid of such legendary session musicians as Jim Keltner, Jim Gordon, Rita Coolidge, Carl Radle, Bobby Keys and dozens of other musicians and singers. The end result was nothing short of magical, as was the the concert film and double LP released not long after.

Fronted by vocalist Bob Reed, Cocker Power is a tribute to that special time, those special people and the musical legacy they created. Comprised of SF music scene veterans, they bring to every performance the same sense of camaraderie and fun that is so evident in the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour film.

You are cordially invited to come hear, see and feel Cocker Power invoke the Rotating Rocker and the Master of Space and Time once again!
