Message of Love
Why do I do this?

Because it's so much FUN!

Tom Ayres - guitar. My original idea was to pay tribute over the next 4 years during the 50th Anniversary of Hendrix's live performances, to what I feel is the forgotten plus of Hendrix's contribution to live shows - the element of danger. Of course there are so many elements to his performances: the rendition of the moment, his mood, his state of mind, who really knows how sensitive he was and how much things affected him? What I picked up as a teenager was his decision to be loud and how that must have felt to him. I began playing loudly around the age of 17 and quickly found out that it is not a sport for the timid, for those in the audience and for Jimi. And for myself, I learned it required a high level of commitment - this alone led to my ever increasing appreciation of Jimi's unparalleled talent to master the loudest and most expressive guitar of modern history. My regret in life is I cannot walk into a venue where he is playing and experience "The Experience". So, humbly, I must do it for myself.

And For You! It is not going to be a quiet concert. Be prepared!!! Molecules will be re-arranged.

Drums - Prairie Prince. Two beautiful words to any musician/music lover that's heard him with The Tubes, Todd Rundgren, XTC, Dukes Of The Stratosphere, Chris Isaak, Brian Eno, David Byrne, Tom Waits, Paul Kantner, George Harrison, Dick Dale, Glenn Frey..... I met him when I was in Persephone's Bees opening up for The New Cars. I think he would be happy to tell you that his fav rock drummer when he was a lad was Mitch Mitchell, Hendrix's drummer.

We've been recording some of my originals along with the Hendrix early catalogue and I listen the recordings as a Prairie solo record - he is setting his Chickens Free!

Bass - Angelina Moysov. The very first band I was in with Angelina was called "Angelina's Bass Lessons" as she had expressed a desire to learn the bass. What transpired was she became my favorite bass player! Singer/Songwriter/Inspiration for the band Persephone's Bees, Angelina is much more and beyond categories - a huge talent, and more fun to look at than me.
