This Saturday, April 15th we are extremely proud to be hosting “Luminance : SF” – a day-long festival in the Luminance series, benefiting those displaced by the one-two punch of the Big Sur Bridge Collapse and landslide earlier this year.
The festival, curated by Tim Presley of White Fence, features a super powered list of some of the best musicians from the coast of California: SF and Oakland via Big Sur and Santa Cruz down to LA – including the unbelievable Once & Future Band (who burned the house down during their release party in January for an album that’s been highly lauded by outlets like Stereogum and Relix, Peacers (Mike Donovan of Sic Alps incendiary new band who have become the talk of the Bay this year), the singular and amazing Range of Light Wilderness, Earth Girl Helen Brown (born out of Heidi Alexander’s Sandwitches and Sonny Smith’s Sonny & The Sunsets), the extraordinary Pesos, Mammatus, Mall Walk (side project of Cool Ghouls) and many more.
And the best thing is, not only will a portion of every ticket sold go to helping those displaced in Big Sur – but tickets are only $20 in advance! ($25 at the door).
So come on down for this all-day (((folkYEAH!))) affair, filled with the most amazing musicians on the best coast – all to support a great cause.
